The Refuge Community Garden

The Nashville Food Project hosts our participants at the Wedgewood Urban Gardens in a space called The Refuge. Those enrolled in this program have access to a community plot as well as garden training.

Blackman Road Garden

217 Blackman Road, Nashville, TN 37211

CRIT partnered together with Nashville Grown to establish the Blackman Road Garden in June 2014. Those enrolled in this program have access to a community plot as well as garden training.

CLC Market Garden

299 Haywood Lane, Nashville, TN 37211

CRIT’s newest development is the market garden at Christ Lutheran Church (CLC). CRIT and TNFP have partnered together to offer a new Market Gardener program for those interested in selling produce for supplemental income. CRIT hopes to host a weekly farm stand behind the church where the general public can purchase the participants’ products. We are grateful for our working relationship with the Christ Lutheran Church who is facilitating the use of this new space.

Paragon Urban Farms (PUF)

505 Paragon Mills Rd, Nashville, TN 37211

FASHA (a Kinyarwanda word calling for assistance) stands for Fervent Assistance to Survivors for Healthy Adjustments. FASHA was started by a group of refugees and immigrants from the African Great Lakes region (Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Congo, Tanzania). In 2014, FASHA established the Paragon Urban Farm and this year, CRIT is partnering to support FASHA in their efforts at PUF.
